French School

About

Les Chenilles offers French classes on Saturday mornings to children of nursery and primary school age in Walthamstow, London. Typically, the children have at least one French-speaking parent or guardian.

Founded in 2019, Les Chenilles aims to provide children in Walthamstow with access to French language and culture and the opportunity for French-speaking families in the area to connect.

Les Chenilles is a member of Le Parapluie FLAM (Français Langue Maternelle), an umbrella organisation which supports French language schools for young children in the UK.

We are a UK-registered charity run by a group of volunteer parents. We are always keen to hear from parents who would like to give their time and energy to this project. If you are interested in getting involved, we would love to hear from you!
